To help you get the most from your Inner Circle experience, you’ll be joined on the tour by one of our expert guides, who are highly knowledgeable about the archaeology of Stonehenge. The guide will give you all insights into the interesting stories surrounding this historical place. Please let us know upon booking if you would wish them to do so as you will need to cover the cost of an additional access ticket.

Salisbury Cathedral

In addition to visiting Stonehenge, if you are looking for a quiet place to relax, don’t forget to visit the picturesque City of Salisbury and its breathtaking Cathedral. The Salisbury Cathedral is one of the UK’s most iconic mediaeval buildings that has welcomed travellers for over 800 years. Also, discover the original 1215 Magna Carta, one of only four in the world, and explore its legacy in an interactive exhibition.

​Roman Baths

Constructed in around 70AD as a grand bathing and socialising complex, the Roman Baths is one of the best-preserved Roman remains in the world, where 1,170,000 litres of steaming spring water, reaching 46°C, still fills the bathing site every single day. The Roman Baths are right in the centre of Bath within the main shopping area and next to Bath Abbey and the Tourist Office. It is the site of extensive ruins and an interactive museum filled with many treasures and visual snippets that transport you back to Roman times and the lives of the Aquae Sulis people. Walk on ancient pavements as the Romans did 2,000 years ago, and explore chambers historically housing changing rooms and tepid plunge pools.

You also have the option of picking some alternate tour sights to visit such as Windsor Castle (the oldest and largest royal-occupied castle in the world), Avebury (a Neolithic henge monument containing three stone circles), or Lacock Abbey & Village (picturesque streets and historic cottages featuring in Pride & Prejudice & Harry Potter).

Pickup Times and Lunch

Our tour guide will pick you up at 5 am if you choose to visit the sunrise Inner Circle tour. For the sunset tour, drop-off will be around 10 pm depending on the actual time of the year. The date and times will be confirmed upon booking and based on your pickup/drop-off location.

For lunch, our tour guide will happily give you a number of options to choose from on the day.
